While we customize every bike assembled at the studio to suit the needs of the rider, we specialize in two styles: “Local” and “Express.”
- Local puts your body in a comfortable, upright and relaxed position, perfect for mellow rides through the park, or down to the local farmers market for groceries.
- Express is our more efficient and athletic design, developed for commuters and urban cyclists, or people looking to make longer rides.

Tuition Pricing:
Every day at the Bamboo Bike Studio, we work toward a simple goal: to provide as much value to as many people as we can. We’ve invested many rewarding hours working hard to make the experience of building your own bike more enjoyable and accessible. And we’re pleased to say we’ve enjoyed some success and now able to lower class tuition prices for 2010.
- Full Bike Weekend Workshop Tuition is now $932, down from $1250.
- Frame-only Weekend Workshops Tuition is now $632, down from $799.
