Piper is a joy to watch and listen to and the video is so entertaining while so informative. I wish this was being shown in every classroom in every city in every state. Every day. Ok, not that often but hopefully you get my drift.
I especially enjoyed the visuals of Piper riding the bike down the street through the urban bamboo forest.
So lovely.
So hopeful.
So thank you!
even if i weren’t piper’s mother, this is a fantastic short documentary. i hope it will be shown on many venues.
‘handcrafted’ is too uncommon these days. bicycle lovers everywhere will be fascinated to learn they can build their own bike and customize it for their own size and components. everyone who sees this film will want a bamboo bicycle–including me!
This is the coolest freaking thing EVER! I LOVE IT! I want to come make one.
The video was great, would have liked to see more in focus as in more surroundings and less artistic but the concept behind it and what the studio means to others and yourself…great stuff!
Good luck and hope something more amazing comes out of it than already has.
I live in Costa Rica but I lived all my life in San Francisco. I still own a house in the Sunset. I was interested because bamboo is all over the place in Costa rica and a friend of mine is working with the Cabecar Indians here and we wanted some info on growing bamboo as a ‘crop’ They are losing their hunter/gatherer world and we were thinking of alternatives; unfortunatley the video had no picture and very little sound.
